DIVORCE: My Wife Gets Leaner Whenever I Have Sex With Her-Husband, While Wife Claims He's Fetish, Wears Red Clothes As Muslim Cleric

A driver and Islamic cleric, Ganiu Akinpelu, has asked the Agege Customary Court in Lagos State to effect the dissolution of the union between him and his wife, Afusat Akinpelu, on allegations of arrogance and troublesomeness.

He also complained that she always got leaner whenever he had sex with her.
Thirty one-year-old Ganiu alleged before the court that the more he slept with his wife, the more she was  losing  weight and becoming arrogant.

According to him, they got married seven years ago and  are blessed  with three children but  couldn’t explain what went wrong with her and why she was losing weight  at a fast rate.

He stated that divorce became necessary because his wife was uncontrollable, troublesome and  was in the habit of  fighting  their  neighbours.

Ganiu alleged that his wife, a petty trader, was more troublesome than a demon and that he  was  no more interested in the relationship.

In her defence, 30-year-old Afusat said that her husband was not what people believe he is, adding that he merely camouflaged as a driver but was  indeed a fetish person.

She alleged that he claimed  to be a Muslim cleric, but he wore red clothes rather that the white clothes worn by other clerics.

“He wears red clothes and sprinkles palm oil on the  cutlass  which  he claims  he  uses for his work.
‘’ One day, I lay on the bed but  he thought I was asleep and raised his cutlass to my head and I jumped up.

“ I realise I have continued to lose weight having sex with him while I don’t feel  fine within me.
‘’A Shehu in his mosque  told me to  bring my breastmilk which I did,   but  some people  told me they used it for diabolical means.

“When I discussed this with my husband, he said I was  not the only one  they took  breastmilk from.
“I packed out of his house without him giving me and our children money,” she said.

The court president, Mr. Emmanuel Shokunle, ordered that Ganiu should pay N15, 000 for his child upkeep and adjourned the case for further hearing.
