Jose Mourinho had crazy 24 hours. It all started with a win in the English Premier League match against Manchester United on January 19, 2014, Sunday.
Then Chelsea FC manager was honoured at a Gala Dinner organised by the Football Writers Association.
Finally, Mourinho departed for his elbow surgery in Paris, France.
He showed no signs of his injury when receiving an award from the Football Writers' Association on Sunday night.
However, Mourinho had to fly to Paris for an arthroscopy on a long-standing elbow complaint.
The
operation performed by Dr. Didier Fontes had been planned for some
time. His first-team players had been given two days off after a run of
six wins and a draw from the last seven Barclays Premier League games.
According to the official Twitter of Chelsea, Jose Mourinho was fine and would return to his work on January 21, 2014, Tuesday.
